People get a little carried away IMO and judge these "trucks" a bit too harsh on body roll and steering. It by no means should feel like a Toyota Forerunner, and it doesn't. Steering, handling, body roll, etc are all miles better than a typical SUV. But it also won't, and never was supposed to, give you an M3 driving experience either.. That and it seems to me a lot of people expect too much without even getting the suspension upgrades, or upgrading to an actual X5M or X6M.
It's kind of funny that you say this, because I often find myself mentally describing the F15 as "nimble" when I'm driving. The power in the engine (35d here), smooth shifts, barely breaking a sweat to get to 60, 70, more mph, everything makes me feel like I'm NOT driving a 6600lb SUV. I've considered starting a thread just to find out if I'm the only one that feels this way

Anyway, my vote coming off of my E70 is F15 is better. As many have noted, it's a great evolution of the platform. More luxury materials, better engines, better technology, etc. I loved my E70, and I had a hard time not buying it outright after my lease ended. But after a test drive with the F15, I was hooked.

The one area where I miss my E70 is steering. I am one that liked the heavier steering in the E70. I'm also a 6'4" man who weighs in accordingly, so grain of salt there. I can see why others might prefer the easier steering on the F15. My one recommendation to BMW is to do something to find a middle ground. The pendulum has swung too far. Need to get to the middle between the over-heavy E70 and the over-light F15.

Otherwise, vastly prefer the looks, comfort, performance, and tech on my F15.
That's because you're not driving a 6600 lb. SUV. You're driving a 5000-5300 lb. SUV.
