They really aren't flimsier in construction, but may at first look appear so because the leather part adjacent to the seat is now black (not the seat color ie Mocha) and less substantial looking. The seat itself seems a bit better padded, better contoured and I find the recline adds to the comfort. Keep in mind though that I am one that likes a reclined seat.
Like the poster said above, the standard rear seats are also sufficiently comfortable as well, so you will be fine.

. If so, that's good to hear. I'm glad they are not flimsy on your vehicles. It definitely makes it an attractive option now. Thanks for the feedback on these, both of you.
