I'm under no illusions that there won't be some niggly little issues, but just want to try to determine that the multitude of faults we endured with the two MB's aren't going to be repeated.
I think the warranty plan is a must, however I did not bother with it on the M4.
As for mileage, the wife's cars get turned over at the 48 month mark, usually with around 21,000miles (34,000kms) on them. So a few of you have already exceeded our mileage expectations without a lot of drama. I was thinking to keep this one around 60 months, so wanted to be sure a bit higher mileage wasn't going to be an issue. But we'll never crack the 35,000 mile mark - unless she is so enamoured of it that she doesn't want to change it.
