Cheers for all the info

I don't normally pay much attention to the OEM tyres that come on my cars from new. However, for some reason I decided to look up the Continental Sportconctact 5 SSR's that came on my X5, only to discover that they are primarily a summer tyre & are not recommended for near freezing temps, ice & light snow !!! I think this the first time I haven't got all season tyres on a car.

So it looks like I may need to get myself sorted with a winter tyre/wheel setup. If I do buy a complete set from BMW, I'll leave them in their natural alloy colour for this winter, but will definitely get them powder coated black for next year, as yours really look good
