According to Car and Driver own tests - it's 37 ft difference from 70mph to 0 (highway speeds)

Those of us who rock upgraded brake kit on x5 (like MPBK or Brembo) - will have for sure better results - like this x5m has 153 ft

X5 is X5, no doubt it's one of the better SUVs out there, but Tahoe and company (Escalade, Denali, Suburban etc) of course have more space and they are probably better suited for large family. Upcoming X7 will be more like it - but it will be a lot more expensive
