Alarm goes off after locking
Before taking to the dealer thought i’d get some e-pinions from the board on this. My x5 has a tendency for the alarm to go off after locking the vehicle. I’ve had it happen on both FOBs and using the comfort lock button on the door. Any idea why? At 1st i thought it might be an issue with the FOB but additional testing seems to rule that out. Maybe something weird electrically?
Also is there anyway to turn off the alarm in the interim? I basically never use the panic button (though my key has one which seems not entirely consistent with keys i’ve seen on the board).
