In the market for an SUV, preferably 2017 X5 35i.
Well the dealer blew my motor after an oil filter housing gasket change and tried to pass it off and not take responsibilities after getting my insurance involved they sided with me and found the dealer negligent and totaled my x5 and got a big check to let it go.

Theirs many posts I found where the n55 dies shortly after the change. So many died bmw made a bulletin to run a priming procedure after the change and that doesn't always work.

One mechanic had three n55's blow in his dealership after the oil filter housing gasket change.

Seems to hit higher milage engines worse as the variable displacement oil pump in the n55 doesn't seem to prime very well on the older engines.

But this was on an e70 not the F15
