Exactly this. Plus they let anything slip through the auctions. I was at a BMW franchise auction, where they are required to list all issues. One of the issues they "forgot" to mention was that the car had a rear end collision. No way to see it in pics, but the bumper was wavy on first glance. So yea, don't do it. People whose business it is, they can catch a deal for a bit of proffit, but you and me, no.
