So I run a little dealership here in Utah and I only sell bimmers. I am coming back years later to edit this post now that these cars are getting a little older:

Over time, you may have issues with CCV, turbo inlet hoses, turbo cooling lines, fuel pumps, and a few other odds and ends. Valve stem seals are a real possibility at higher mileage. Make sure you have consistent oil change history on a used car to reduce the risk of stem seal failure, and bearing failure. The part number for valve stems seems to be unchanged vs the previous gen N63s.

Overall, we still love the engines.
