All true, but you can share location from google maps to your car via My BMW. Annoying but works and you get the best of both worlds.
Granted, when 3G is out I'll get the MMI to get Apple CarPlay. But before that - naaaaah, can't be bothered. Waiting for all the bugs to be fixed and when the time comes, I'll pull the trigger.
