More likely, you wiper may be over/under traveling in its arc. Here is my wife's F15 showing where the wiper ends its sweep on the driver's side...

Mine is the same. It isn't a question of spray, rather the fluid flows onto the window (rather than up onto the roof/into a drain track) at higher rates of speed.
