It happens regardless the brand blade, old or new.
I've tried cleaning the window multiple times, makes no difference.
Its right where the blade attaches to the arm, and only smears on down stroke.
Happened even on my previous windshield that was replaced.

I feel you, that would bother me too.
If it happened on your old windshield, and new or old blades... has to be a pressure problem with the arm no?
