I would for sure recommend to change the fluids ... 100K miles is the recommendation from ZF. Also it will help in case something happens specially as you said about some white smoke.
Certainly substantially more expensive than DIY. They always use OEM parts so transmission oil pan is certainly 2-3x more expensive than OE and transmission oil is like $65 per liter instead of $17 ... the OEM service for transmission only is already $500 more than ZF parts. Potentially they are charging ~50% labor.
