Possibility
I have a Chamberlin Garage Door Opener. Couldn't program Homelink with a universal remote that came with the house. Went to Lowes, got one designated for Chamberlin, programmed it, and the Homelink programed exactly as advertised. I'll keep the one I bought, but once you're done you can always return it.
