Don't see any mobile rim repair outfits near Albany NY. I'll check with my BMW dealer and see if they know of someone.

What metal is the 2016 stock F15 X5's made of. Are they painted alloy?

I'd rather have it professionally done so as to cause me "the pain" of coughing up the dollars to fix my stupid error.
My Wife' Audi has a few spots on her wheels too, so I'll get hers done also.

Coincidently, I'm dropping my Daughter"s Highlander off tomorrow at Tint World for LED low beam bulbs to be installed. They are listed when I google rim repair so I'll see who they use. They probably just send them out to the same schlock shop I used to send my Saab wheels to who can't get a color match correct.

But check out this youtube DIY rim repair link below I found (click on the pic). This guy is great. One of the best DIY vids I've seen. Great spray prep and spray painting tips.
(I don't know who he is, no connection to me).

But like I said I know I could repair it myself, but I need to feel the pain. $200 is the loss of many glasses of Chardonnay to me and that's feeling the pain This will make me think twice the next time I get too near a curb.
