Like the standard F15 X5, the next X5 M should also weigh less than the current X5 M. Expect it to be powered by the S63Tu from the M5/M6 (current X5 M uses the S63 engine), but with a power hike. We should see the X5 M hit dealers by the end of next year - early 2015.

Any idea which gearbox will be used? 7 speed dct, 8 speed auto or continuing with the old 6 speed auto?
