I have a 2016 X5 xdrive3.5 with the mpkg. I also modified the truck and added an m performance exhaust, brakes, power kit and got the 21" wheels. The factory build came with the 19" with all seasons. I used the all seasons in last years winter (live in NJ) and about to the same this year. I agree the lower sidewall helps spring thru fall with the extra handling and in the winter months the extra sidewall helps with the snow and potholes. I plan on changing the tires to winter tires once the all seasons are ready to be changed out. I definitely recommend having a second set if you got the 20" and need more traction during the winter months.
