Well, as far as paint protection, for me personally, it's to protect my car from every day grime and keep it cleaner since I normally just do touch free washes and hand clean/treat my wheels/tires. It's just a matter of convenience and giving the car a nice higher gloss look with a plus of the water-beading effect
