This may be something I coded, but I have found that it is dependent on whether I have the brake pedal depressed or not.
If I open the door with my foot still on the brake, the radio will stay on. If I let of the brake before opening door, the radio turns off.
I need to find the setting to turn off every time I turn off the engine....regardless of whether the brake is depressed or not.
