My headlights operate the same exact way, with that one driver side LED off, but only after I coded on the VLD (variable light distribution) feature as you may know, is decoded for us in the US. Before coding, all LEDs were lit all the time. Did you code on VLD? If VLD is coded on, if you turn your headlight switch from Auto to manual on, that one LED will come back on. Also, if the headlight switch is set in Auto, with VLD, that one LED will come on once you exceed around 30mph. For what it's worth, I also have the anti-glare high beam feature coded but don't think it impacts the LED turning on and off.
