Depends on the car. On my X5M- with 285/325 f/r and low offsets - it wouldn't just be the bumper; at minimum, it'd be the mirrors, rockers, and rear fender flares that would need a respray. At which point, a PPF starts making sense.

Gloss is fantastic on Xpel- particularly if a nano sealant is added.

Most folks pay up to ~$2,000 for a detail/full-front PPF.
