@pesh, to answer installation difficulties.
I did retrofit a side step on one of the forum member, I would say between 1 being easy and 10 being difficult, it would be rated at 6.
Everything is straight forward, just time consuming and a bit hard where it is closed to the fender flare.
Usefulness, all of the members has mentioned them already.
I got an M Sport and my 2 years old just crawl backward to get out from the car. He think he is big already, refusing all sorts of help from the parents.
