I'm a bit confused. I did service about 4500 miles ago... I normally do 5000 mile oil changes, but I was checking my oil level and noticed that my service indicator came up saying service due in 3500 miles. That would mean only a 8000 mile interval which seems not normal.

I'm wondering if the service in 3500 miles is actually my 30,000 mile service that would be Inspection 1 (even though it would only be 28000 miles). If so they'll probably change my oil so I would skip my regular 5k service since I think normally I can get them to get the CBS service if it's within 1000 miles of the due... however does someone have other thoughts? Should I stick with my regular schedule and get the oil and filter changed? I already have the materials stocked up, so no hassle there.
