I did the Spartan sprint down in Temecula. I had trained 3 months for it and then it was rescheduled. Day of the race I was about 30lbs overweight and it kicked my arse. The obstacles were cake, upper body strength got me through that. The darn hills though absolutely destroyed me. Even though I finished I was dead. I could barely walk after. I never was a distance type runner, if you run on a daily you'll be fine. If you don't it will be a struggle. It is very fun though but those darn hills really suck.
