The only little "nagging" thing in the back of my mind was the impact on the durability / reliability / longevity of the engine. Like many on this board, I have always thought of my purchases of BMWs as long term keepers. Now I think of them in terms of 5 years or so and my driving style is certainly not going to be hammering the six cylinder that often. So - install I will.
