I went with the icar2 as well for the same reason that you did. The reviews I read were better, and they had the reader in Black/Green (I've been a Green Lantern fan for decades!)
Now the one thing I wish it could do, and maybe I just haven't seen the option within the App, but the ability to "batch code" would be nice. I made the mistake of selecting each item I wanted to code, then selected code only to find out it only coded one of the selections. This led me to believe that coding in bulk (batch) isn't possible with the App??? I haven't contacted the Dev since it's not a big deal for me.
Anyone know if batch coding is possible when using a computer?
