I have 2014 x5 5.0 and the warranty expires in 4 mo/3500 mi. My car went into the shop today for a “drivetrain failure” over the weekend (had to have it towed 185 mi).
While I was in the shop getting my loaner, I inquired about purchasing the extended coverage. I was quoted approx $7300 for the plat and $6400 for the gold. Anybody have any thoughts. It seems the some of the previous quotes I have seen on here are considerably lower.
FYI I am in SoCal, it seem price varies dealer to dealer.
