I am new to the forum and this topic is top of mind for me. I am picking up a 2018 x5 with 9 months left of original warranty followed by the CPO at the end of the new car term.
From what I am reading, it *seems* that the concensus of the board is that the extended warrenty may not be necessary? I expect to put 30-36k mi's per year on the car (may be on the high side- but I'd prefer to go high).
I am financing the car via BMW fin svc's. Does anyone see an advantage to purchasing anything extended when I pick up the car? I am sure the finance guy/girl will do their thing....
