this is definitely a subjective topic. I would recommend you try it out. I get backpain in log drives on why lexus is250, but zero backpain on the X5 even after 7hour long drives (and I don't even have the comfort seats). I have definitely noticed that suv seats that sit up higher are better for back pain vs lower seats you find on a sedan.
