That said, I just purchased the MPPK for my wife's BMW X5 because we wanted to stay within warranty. And with my FBO 335i, ended up having to increase the frequency of oil changes, change the plugs / coils more frequently, had a lot of troubleshooting at the beginning until I got all the kinks sorted out, and the car was quick, but not nearly as smooth as you may want. Lots of fun, but lots of time / work needed.

I think I'll probably just stick with the MPPK. I have to research the RC before I decide on jumping on that -- more power, no doubt, but I don't have any specifics on how it works (basically just a boost controller? if so, what boost are we hitting? I'm assuming ignition timing is adjusted based on stock maps?)
