Yeah, the California market is tough. I've seen M cars way above sticker price in CA.
In a couple days of looking, the best deal I've been able to find in the northeast is 8% off plus an additional $2k off. It comes out to around 11% off MSRP on the build I'm looking at.

Few dealers here actually have a 5k markup on the diesel.
