I might try some of that metal bondo, a little matching color spray and then some clear coat spray. Since I have to do my Wife's Audi too this could save me $400.
I'll do it on the car and just mask it off. From that vid I linked too it looks pretty easy.

Maybe scratch your name inside the wheel, or mark it with a UV pen? That way you'll know whether its your own wheel that they send back. On second thoughts - maybe just get over it?
