Update - we hit a high of 97 today - a bit of a cool spell for mid June in central Kalifornia - took 45 minute run through the foothills and the AC in Auto mode kept everything cool. There was a high amount of heat loading from the sun - you can feel it on your chest as others have mentioned, fans ran slow. I had closed the rear seat vents.

Our real test will be this week - then Ill know for sure.

Also, our X5 is in the garage all the time - so there is no heat load build up that the AC has to overcome - pretty sure that is an issue impacting some of you unfavorably.
