I had this done to mine too...not sure how to explain it but apparently it makes the active LED headlights more "active" compared to stock. I'll try to post a video I took of mine in action. |
Actually, no. It's not just the glare-free high beam assistant. I changed the actual headlights. The reflectors are different inside the housings resulting in a different low and high beam pattern.
The ECE pattern has different cut offs for the lights and provides a broader beam of light. It's just a personal preference.
DOT lighting codes in the US are woefully out of date.
