Fumoto Oil Drain Plugs
Morning All,
I just did an oil change on my 2017 35i yesterday and opted to install a Fumoto valve (in place of the drain plug) as I have had good experiences with them on previous vehicles. Following install, however, I have some concerns over how far the valve protrudes from the skid plate (pics attached).
As the valve is within the diameter of the wheels, I’m not so concerned over speed bumps. That being said, my concern is related to any debris that may be unavoidable on the road while driving.
Are my concerns valid? Or is this nothing worth worrying over?
