From my understanding it would seem that DHP is what you are talking about...not sure why Euro markets word things differently from the US and vice versa. Pure Excellence Package? I don't understand why they can't name things the same all over the world

Either way...the upgraded suspension DHP (most likely what yours is) is MUCH better than Adaptive M suspension. Many have it and love it. There is not a single negative post on here about it. I would upgrade if you feel the 40d is lacking and if you are still unhappy about power/throttle response, order a tune. It will kick you into 50i territory easily.
