Nicely done! I like the look.
My current X6 is the first car I debadged, and I used dental floss as well. The adhesive gave me a bit of a hard time, but I used bug/tar remover to solve that problem.
Your idea to use rubbing alcohol is genius. I have a whole bottle of bug/tar remover that I will probably never use again since I haven't been straying too far from the NYC area like I did when I was younger, lol
