Thanks for the feedback. If the job did not involve all that deconstruction of so many parts I will be a buyer for the rails. But if I do that job I really would just take my rails to the paint shop and get them painted black for less than $50.00 from a friend shop or vinyl wrap them for less.

That's another way of doing it!!! And most economic one! But work itself - you're right, needs to be done carefully and involves multiple component removal!
