RL has the best range of any windshield RD. If, however, you are worried about BSM K falses and do not want to use EL on your smartphone then you should look at V1+VC1, Max 360, Radenso, etc.
Go to RDF for countless videos and detailed discussion about CMs. If you want the very best, you would need to pay $5K for the Stinger but it is not a windshield mount.
