I route it to steering column, not visible for the driver. Actually, I found you can still use Nbt blutooth with CarPlay so you can skip installing the external mic.. |
What changed with the Bluetooth from first having to disconnect it? And are you sure it isn't using the external mic, even for Siri?
Also, you said the backup camera now works after you changed the DIP switches, does the surround camera still work as well? (and does PDC/surround view still activate automatically when you are close to an obstacle?)
It all sounds pretty good, I'm getting excited for this!
