My concern would be during the case of an accident and making an insurance claim.

It's the same as having darker than legal tint - not worth the risk IMO.

As far as wheels are concerned, just need to fit something aftermarket which widens the track.

Though I think we have limitations there where you cannot widen the track more than 26mm.
