Sunroof leak
I have a 2014 X5 and it has a pretty serious sunroof leak. It creates a pretty loud wind noise on the highway, to the point that I often close the sunshade to block out the noise. Also, when I go through a carwash, the water literally dumps in all along the back edge of the glass, pouring on top of the sunshade.
So my questions are:
1. If water is on top of the sunshade, will it make it to the drains or will it end up going somewhere else where it may cause more damage?
2. Has anyone had this issue and is there an adjustment, or do I need to replace the seal? I have tried the sunroof reset and it didn't make any difference.
I need to figure something out. I can't have a car like this and be afraid to wash it.
