Where did you get yours? So, it remaps throttle? I am wondering if burgertuning stage1 will do the trick, faster response and a bit more breathing and mid range torque.
A tune will not fix it.
A sprint booster may, a few different companies make them.
RaceChip also have it.
But, I personally don't like it. What it does is changing the input signal of your throttle position.
So, instead of fully open or unpressed pedal, the module will tell the ECU they the pedal is at 5% or 10% pressed or closed circuit.

There is another way to reset the pedal response.
I have tried this and somewhat work. I found this by using the best tool in the world, "Google".

1. Never touch the break pedal & key remains inserted the entire time
2. Insert key and push START Button
3. Press and HOLD accelerator pedal for 30 seconds (some say 5, some say 25 seconds - I did 30 to be sure).
4. WITHOUT RELEASING THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL, push the START Button
5. Release accelerator pedal
6. Wait full 2 minutes
7. Start car normally
