To my knowledge no one with a non x5m has put rears on.
To have to drill properly is a drill press and your talking about the safety of a rotor and compromising it.
Some have talked about changing the hub to fit. Not sure it can be done and what would be the cost.
If you can get over the fact that fronts are cross drilled and backs aren't , then just live with the fronts being cross drilled. I know Mercedes sells cars like this.
