The clicks are a normal thing. Assuming its not your bearings/CV. Try this. Pop off the front wheels, clean the rust of the hub/rotor area that mates with the rim. Also clean the back of the wheel and re-install. This will stop the clicking.
I've had the clicks/ticking and this fixed it. There doesn't seem to be a real fix per-se. Some people have had the clicks return even with the spacers.
I also put coper anti-seize on the hub lip where the rim sits on.
