I went with a 4 year policy, they listed a claim limit of £45k on the paperwork. Im okay with this as i feel thats plenty to cover between an insurance payout and what i paid. The discounted price of my car is around £60k, I can't see an insurance payout for a total loss being less than £15k over the next 4 years. Atleast thats how I have it in my head
