Firstly, I like the frozen/matte look on M cars. Unsure how that would look like on the x5 with more surface area. Both Satin Grey & Chrome Matte obviously look great on the sports car with more flowing smooth lines.
If you think the matt look is ok on X5 then to me the Chrome Matte pic 6 of the Aston Martin has the matte/frozen look, otherwise Satin Grey. Also Chrome Matte just looks sharper a more distinct look, gets my vote. Poll is 14 to 10, sounds like the elections, and soon the winner is....

. The Chrome Matte is the color I've decided on. Supplies are ordered; they should be coming this week so I can finally begin this long awaited project. Thanks to you I just noticed in pic 6 that the Aston also has the same carbon fiber 3k gloss around the exhaust area. It actually looks really good with the Chrome Matte. I think I'm going to go this route.
