I find it hard to understand the "practicality" argument of an m4 vs c7. The c7 has massive trunk space (almost the size of a hatch) and every two door car I have ever owned had a backseat that was obnoxious to ask an adult to sit in. If you need the backseat for practicality then get an M3. If you like the two door look, then get an m4 but the practicality argument is just ridiculous.
