I think they took out the fan because the adapters they sell for the phones all have fans built-in. Anyways I'm getting rid of mine this week. Sad part is I have all the different adapters for iPhone 6/6s/7, micro-USB, Lightning, etc. All used once or twice only then realizing they all suck.
