In our area diesel runs .25-.30 cheaper than premium gas anyway so there is that plus the longer running range of the vehicle.

You're 100% correct...
But everything plays a role when you think resale...I can't predict what will happen with diesel in 2-3 years from now when we decide to change our vehicle...
